Tuesday 25th March 1986, With both Bury and Swansea City desperate for points to stay in Canon Third Division, the contest could not have ended any better than the 2 2 it did, unfortunately Swansea failed to beat the drop finishing in 24th place, however Bury survived finishing in 20th place, Ross and White were the scorers for Bury, Williams and Harrison for Swansea
