Maine Road was the venue for my first "AWAY" game, it was on Saturday 27th October 1984 it was a Canon Second Division game between Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers, the game finished 2 1 To Manchester City, Memories of the day mainly being learning how to dodge the numerous coins that came flying over from the City fans..I left with more money than i went with that day ...A lowey own goal and May scored for Manchester City, Brotherston scoring for Blackburn
