Saturday 9th April 1988 and a visit to the County Ground, Swindon to watch them host Blackburn Rovers in a Barclays Second Division game, With Blackburn stuttering for form in the last few "away" games it was great to see them back in the winning way, Archibald bagged a brace, with Barnes netting for Swindon, it was a tight game and Rovers fans were relieved when the final whistle blew.
