Blackburn having won 18 out 26 games were favourite to win the game, Tottenham turned that fact on its head though by going two goals up in the first half hour with goals from Klinsmann and Anderton, Rovers pulled a goal back from the restart of the second half through Sherwood, however the game was all but over when Barmby converted in the 80th minute.
