Saturday 5th August 1995, Huddersfield Town held the official opening of their new stadium "The Alfred McAlpine Stadium" with Premier League Champions Blackburn Rovers being the opposition, It was a spectacular game worthy of the occasion, Booth had the Huddersfield faithful on their feet when he put Town 1 nil up in the 19th minute, Sutton leveled the game on the hour mark, and that is how the game ended.
